Putt Around Van Wert, an indoor Putt Putt Golf tournament, is back for its second year. \u00a0The event will take place February 1 when four-player teams compete for cash prizes for first-, second- and third-place finishes.<\/p>\n
Players will travel to nine Van Wert businesses to play one hole of Putt Putt Golf at each location. Participating businesses and organizations are Fricker\u2019s, Sears, Van Wert Bedrooms, Lee Kinstle GM Sales & Service, Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 5803, StateWide Ford, Kennedy-Kuhn, Elks Lodge 1197, and Black Swamp Bistro.<\/p>\n
Each business\/organization will create its own hole and anything goes. \u00a0Golfers will vote for their favorite hole and the winning business will receive a trophy.<\/p>\n
Play will begin and end at Fricker\u2019s this year. \u00a0Holes can be played anytime between 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. with winners announced after all scores have been tallied. Cost is only $80 per team. Teams may sign up at any of the participating locations or email info@vwcclub.org<\/a> with a team name and a list of members.<\/p>\n
