We\u2019re here to help.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 2013 top 10 consumer complaint categories were:<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>Motor Vehicles<\/li>\n<li>Collections, Credit Reporting, or Financial Services<\/li>\n<li>Do Not Call<\/li>\n<li>Internet, Phone, or TV Services<\/li>\n<li>Household Goods or Property Improvement<\/li>\n<li>Professional Services<\/li>\n<li>Shopping, Food, or Beverages<\/li>\n<li>Health and Beauty<\/li>\n<li>Sweepstakes or Prizes<\/li>\n<li>Mortgage<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n<p>Among motor vehicle complaints, consumers reported the most problems with used car sales and obtaining titles. Attorney General DeWine reminded consumers to contact the Attorney General\u2019s Office if a car dealership fails to provide a title within 30 days of the sale.<\/p>\n<p>Also among the nearly 26,500 total complaints filed in 2013 were 578\u00a0complaints involving\u00a0identity theft, a fast-growing complaint category. Attorney General DeWine launched an Identity Theft Unit in September 2012, and 2013 was the unit\u2019s first full year in operation.
