{"id":47687,"date":"2014-01-22T07:07:28","date_gmt":"2014-01-22T12:07:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=47687"},"modified":"2014-01-22T07:07:28","modified_gmt":"2014-01-22T12:07:28","slug":"paulding-county-agronomy-day-set","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2014\/01\/22\/paulding-county-agronomy-day-set\/","title":{"rendered":"Paulding County Agronomy Day set"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>OSU Extension-Paulding County<\/i><\/p>\n<p>PAULDING &#8212; The Ohio State University Extension Office in Paulding County will be hosting its annual Agronomy Day on Thursday, January 30, from 8:30 a.m. until 3:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Topics for the Day will include: \u201cStepping up Soybean Production: Seed Treatments and Everything but the Kitchen Sink\u201d by Laura Lindsey, \u201cOSU Small Grains and Soybean Specialist\u201d; \u201cAre You and Your Heirs Ready to Continue the Farm Business\u201d by David Marrison, OSU associate professor; \u201cUse of Poultry, Swine and Dairy Manure with Crops in Northwest Ohio\u201d, by Glen Arnold, OSUE state specialist; \u201cManure Management\u201d; \u201cCover Crops \u2013 How does it relate to Soil Conservation and Water Quality\u201d by Jim Hoorman, OSU associate professor.<\/p>\n<p>Cost of the event is $25 if postmarked by January 25, and will include a light breakfast and catered lunch. Registration at the door is $30. Over 20 booths will be set up for producers to view from 8:30 to 9:30 a.m. and over the lunch hour. Speakers will begin at 9:30 that morning.
