This is a reminder that the\u00a0Wassenberg Camera Club\u00a0will meet\u00a0Thursday, Feb. 13, at 7 p.m. at the Wassenberg Art Center located at 214 S. Washington St. “Night Photography” will be the competition theme.\u00a0 For a $1 entry fee, members may submit three 4×6 inch prints or jpg slides no larger than one megabyte.\u00a0Pictures must include the competition name, slide\u00a0title and owner’s name. Winners must be present to receive awards.<\/p>\n

The program\u00a0will be on Special Effects and three techniques will be discussed.\u00a0“Ghost Photography” (how to make images transparent), “Bokeh” (how to produce a soft, blurred background), and “Starbursts” (how to show rays of Light).<\/p>\n

This meeting, as is all others, is open to the public and anyone with an interest in photography, regardless of skill level, is encouraged to attend.<\/p>\n
