Payment will be made directly to the utility company for the amount due, up to $500.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/VWCJFSD-income-guidelines-table-2-2014.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-48633\" alt=\"VWCJFSD income guidelines table 2-2014\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/02\/VWCJFSD-income-guidelines-table-2-2014.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"193\" \/><\/a>Application period is now until the close of business on April 11, or until funds are exhausted. The project funding is limited to $75,000.<\/p>\n<p>Criteria for the heating payment is as follows:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>At least one parent or guardian of a dependent child in the household must be working.<\/li>\n<li>The bill must be in the name of the applicant.<\/li>\n<li>A face-to-face interview is not required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Applications are available at the Job and Family Services front desk during regular business hours: 8 a.m.-4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
