(Jan Dunlap\/Van Wert independent)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lady Knights trailed by a point, 9-8, at the end of the first quarter and Leipsic kept it just that close, leading by one, 19-18, at the half.<\/p>\n<p>Both teams scored 8 points in the third quarter as the Lady Vikings kept its razor-thin margin heading into the final quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The Knights, which had played good defense throughout the game, tightened the clamps even further in the fourth quarter, holding Leipsic to 6 points while hitting some clutch shots and crucial free throws to finally put some distance between Crestview and the Vikes in that final quarter.<\/p>\n<p>The Knights had two players in double figures, led by Lindsey Motycka\u2019s 14 points. Emily Bauer added 13 points, while Mackenzie Riggenbach scored 8 points for Crestview. Haley Gerten led Leipsic with 14 points.<\/p>\n<p>The Knights were 11 of 32 from field goal range (34.4 percent), while Leipsic made 13 of 38 field goal tries (34.2 percent).
