Quality assurance is a state required training program for any 4-H or FFA member who is exhibiting livestock at a junior fair (excluding rabbits).<\/p>\n
The Ohio State University Extension is hosting the first QA event in 2014 at the Van Wert County Fairgrounds this Sunday, March 9, from 2 p.m. until approximately 4 that afternoon.<\/p>\n
Members must register at the Junior Fair Building upon arrival the day of the event. Further instructions will be provided at this time. Members should register no later than 3 p.m. in order to complete their training.<\/p>\n
Members eligible for test out can do so starting at 1 p.m. in the Junior Fair Building. The testing out option is offered one hour prior to start of the event.<\/p>\n
The second and final QA offered in Van Wert County will be on Thursday, April 24, from 6:30 to approximately 8:30 p.m., with the test out option starting at 5:30 that evening.<\/p>\n
