{"id":49561,"date":"2014-03-14T22:34:30","date_gmt":"2014-03-15T03:34:30","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=49561"},"modified":"2014-03-14T22:34:30","modified_gmt":"2014-03-15T03:34:30","slug":"van-wert-swcd-offers-500-scholarship","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2014\/03\/14\/van-wert-swcd-offers-500-scholarship\/","title":{"rendered":"Van Wert SWCD offers $500 scholarship"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Van Wert SWCD information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The Van Wert Soil and Water Conservation District is offering one $500 scholarship to a student studying agriculture, natural resources or closely related fields at any Ohio college or university during the 2013-2014 academic year.<\/p>\n<p>Recipients of the scholarship need to have completed their freshman year in college, and must be Van Wert County residents.<\/p>\n<p>Scholarship applications must be received at the Soil and Water Conservation District office by May 2<i>.<\/i>\u00a0 The Scholarship Committee of the Soil and Water Conservation District will review the applications, and announce recipients in June.
