Jennifer April Short, 35, died at 7:14 p.m. Tuesday, April 1, 2014, at the Van Wert Area Inpatient Hospice Center.<\/p>\n
She was born March 21, 1979, in Van Wert, the daughter of Mary E. (Martin) Short, who survives in Van Wert, and the late Roger D. Short.<\/p>\n
Other survivors include a son, Alan J. \u201cAJ\u201d Short of Van Wert; one daughter, Elizabeth R. Short of Van Wert; and one sister, Lori (Cory) Bryan of Van Wert.<\/p>\n
Her maternal grandparents, Leo G. and Zita M. Martin; and her paternal grandparents, Elmer E. and Florence Irene Short, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
Jennifer was a homemaker and attended Trinity United Methodist Church in Van Wert.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Monday, April 7, at Brickner Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Scott Campbell officiating. Burial will be at a later date in Taylor Cemetery in rural Van Wert County.<\/b><\/p>\n
