(photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Everyone<b> <\/b>can make a difference in small ways that could have an inspiring effect on children in great ways; share one\u2019s interests, culture, or talents in a classroom or volunteer to read with children.\u00a0 The Council on Rural Services encourages community members to become involved in programs that support young children during this important time in their lives of becoming lifelong learners.<\/p>\n<p>Kids Learning Place designs their early education programs to promote school readiness by providing high-quality learning experiences that include teachers with degrees in every classroom, using a research based curriculum, and encouraging parent participation.\u00a0Council on Rural Services and Kids Learning Place want to also take this time to recognize their early education staff, which significantly contributes to the quality of services provided to program families.\u00a0 Their commitment, vision, and determination with children and families push the program to its highest levels.<\/p>\n<p>CORS is proud that the Kids Learning Place Education and Child Care centers in Van Wert County have earned the four-star \u201cStep Up To Quality<i>\u201d <\/i>award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services that recognizes programs that exceed licensing standards in education, staff training, and staff qualifications.\u00a0CORS\u2019 centers are the only highest rated \u201cfour\u201d star programs in the county.<\/p>\n<p>Early childhood education is vital to communities; children need strong early learning foundations.
