This compares with the national average that has increased 1.3 cents per gallon in the last week to $3.55 per gallon, according to gasoline price website <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28382\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Gasoline price graphic 8-2012\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>Including the change in gas prices in Ohio during the past week, prices yesterday were 7.5 cents per gallon higher than the same day one year ago and are 1.4 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has increased 7.4 cents per gallon during the last month and stands 3.1 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;Gasoline prices have seen an ever so slight increase in the last week across a good portion of the nation, which is certainly good news for spring break travelers,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a> Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. &#8220;For those who may be headed to California, they may be greeted with rising prices to the tune of 10-20 cents per gallon over the next two weeks.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFor much of the rest of the country, including Florida destinations, prices shouldn&#8217;t be holding many back from hitting the road,\u201d DeHaan noted. \u201cThis spring has seen very little volatility so far, and if it remains that way, I may have to revise downward my forecast for gas prices for the rest of April and May, which my wallet would certainly love.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><b>About GasBuddy<\/b><\/p>\n<p>GasBuddy operates <a href=\"http:\/\/ohiogasprices.com\/\">OhioGasPrices.com<\/a> and over 250 similar websites that track gasoline prices at over 140,000 gasoline stations in the United States and Canada.
