Rehearsals are held in the S.F. Goedde Building band room (former <img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5047\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/03\/Uncle-Sam-Needs-You-3-2011.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"125\" height=\"167\" \/>high school), 205 W. Crawford St., from 7:30-9 p.m. The band is open to those wanting to play their instruments in an adult concert band.<\/p>\n<p>Current members vary in age and playing ability, but have the common interest of performing and making great band music. Band members come from Van Wert, Elida, Lima, Delphos, Convoy, Payne, Chat, Middle Point, Decatur and Rockford. It truly is a Van Wert Area Band.<\/p>\n<p>Retired Parkway Band director Richard Sherrick directs the band.
