Just a reminder that the Main Street Van Wert Board of Directors will host its Annual Dinner meeting on Monday, April 21, at the Wassenberg Art Center in downtown Van Wert. The event begins at 5:30 p.m., with dinner served at 6:10 that evening, and the program to follow.<\/p>\n
This year\u2019s event will highlight the history of the Van Wert Amory, with stories from local residents once active in the Ohio National Guard. Hope Wallace, director of the Wassenberg Art Center, will share about the transformation of the building into today\u2019s community art center.<\/p>\n
The evening will conclude with past year highlights of downtown, including several special recognitions. This year marks the organization\u2019s 10th anniversary as an Ohio Main Street Community, working toward growth and development in downtown Van Wert.<\/p>\n
