Two to three artworks from every grade level were entered into the judged art show.  The Art Show consisted of students from Van Wert, Lincolnview, Crestview, and St. Mary\u2019s. (Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The junior high track teams started their seasons on Saturday at the Parkway Invitational.\u00a0 There were a total of 12 boys\u2019 teams and 11 girls\u2019 teams at the competition.\u00a0 The boys brought back the runner up trophy, scoring 95.5 points as a team.\u00a0 They were second to Wapakoneta by just 9 points and finished ahead of Van Wert by 16 points.\u00a0 The girls were fourth as a team, scoring 43 points.<\/p>\n<p>Placing for the Lancer teams included:<\/p>\n<p>Maddie Gorman \u2013 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in the 100 hurdles (20.11) and 4<sup>th<\/sup> in the 200 meter hurdles (37.35)<\/p>\n<p>Braxten Robey \u2013 7<sup>th<\/sup> in the 110 hurdles (21.94)<\/p>\n<p>Tristin Miller \u2013 6<sup>th<\/sup> in the 100 meter dash (14.53), 7<sup>th<\/sup> in the high jump (4\u20198\u201d)<\/p>\n<p>Rylee Byrne \u2013 6<sup>th<\/sup> in the mile run (6:29.85)<\/p>\n<p>Cal Wolfrum \u2013 1<sup>st<\/sup> in the mile (5:11.21) and 1<sup>st<\/sup> in the 800 meter run (2:25.12)<\/p>\n<p>Karter Tow \u2013 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the mile (5:24.59) and 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the 800 meter run (2:29.86)<\/p>\n<p>Alek Bowersock \u2013 8<sup>th<\/sup> in the mile (5:41.88)<\/p>\n<p>Brayden Langdon \u2013 3<sup>rd<\/sup> in the 400 meter dash (1:10.72) and 6<sup>th<\/sup> in the 800 meter run (2:58.53)<\/p>\n<p>Logan Williams \u2013 2<sup>nd<\/sup> in the 200 meter hurdles (33.54), 4<sup>th<\/sup> in the high jump (4\u20198\u201d)<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_50736\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-50736\" style=\"width: 330px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/jr.-high-scholastic-team.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-50736 \" style=\"border-width: 1px; border-color: black; border-style: solid;\" alt=\"The Lincolnview Junior High Scholastic Bowl team had a great experience traveling to the Wright State Lake Campus on Friday, April 11 for the annual Scholastic Bowl Tournament.
