The YMCA of Van Wert County is holding a summer special for adult and college memberships. Starting immediately, through June 30, adults can purchase a temporary three-month membership for only $99, with no additional fees.<\/p>\n
Full-time college students between the ages of 18-24, with proof of full-time college student status, can purchase a temporary three-month membership for only $75, or $125 that includes after-hours access with no additional fees.<\/p>\n
If participants choose to purchase a regular membership upon membership expiration, they may purchase it by Saturday, July 19, and pay no joining fee (a savings worth up to $50).<\/p>\n
\u201cWe are excited to be able to offer this special for those who would like to start the summer in a healthy manner,\u201d stated Kristin Lichtensteiger, YMCA membership\/marketing director. \u201cThis also gives people the chance to \u2018try the Y\u2019 on a short-term basis to see all the great opportunities and health benefits the Y has to offer.\u201d<\/p>\n
These memberships include full use of Y facilities, lap swims, and participation in all free fitness classes.<\/p>\n
