(Photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The Lincolnview Softball team is winding down the season and is currently sitting in second place in the NWC with a 4-1 record.\u00a0 Overall they stand at 9-10 on the season.\u00a0 Bluffton, Spencerville, and Columbus Grove remain on the conference schedule and tournament is right around the corner.\u00a0 The team will play Spencerville in tournament action on April 12 at 5 p.m. at Spencerville. Come out and support the Lancer Softball team and all the other athletes in their respective sports.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_51491\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-51491\" style=\"width: 330px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/farm-visit-1_800x600.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-51491\" alt=\"Kindergarten students had the opportunity to visit farms in our community on Tuesday April 30.  They had the chance to pet a lamb, see horses, watch robotic milking, and observe a miniature horse and its 3-day-old baby and so much more! Thank you to our local farmers for taking the time to share their animals with us.
