{"id":51698,"date":"2014-05-14T05:01:40","date_gmt":"2014-05-14T10:01:40","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=51698"},"modified":"2014-05-14T05:02:26","modified_gmt":"2014-05-14T10:02:26","slug":"human-trafficking-presentation-announced","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2014\/05\/14\/human-trafficking-presentation-announced\/","title":{"rendered":"Human trafficking program announced"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>YWCA of VW County information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The AAUW is partnering with the YWCA of Van Wert County to present a public forum on &#8220;Human Trafficking: Ohio&#8217;s Tragic Reality&#8221; presented by Laurel Neufeld Weaver on Thursday, May 22, at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Laurel Neufeld Weaver is the rape crisis coordinator for Allen County Crime Victim Services, which helps <a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Stop-Human-Trafficking-artwork-5-2014.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-51699\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Stop Human Trafficking artwork 5-2014\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/05\/Stop-Human-Trafficking-artwork-5-2014.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"143\" \/><\/a>victims prevail over the trauma of their victimization by assisting and advocating for safety, healing, justice and restitution.<\/p>\n<p>Weaver will present facts and information on sex trafficking, labor trafficking and child sex trafficking.
