This compares with the national average that has not moved\u00a0in the last week at $3.62 a gallon, according to gasoline price website <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><a title=\"MGN Online graphic\" href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\" rel=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-28382\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Gasoline price graphic 8-2012\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2012\/09\/Gasoline-price-graphic-8-2012.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"188\" \/><\/a>Including the change in gas prices in Ohio during the past week, prices Sunday were 12.6 cents per gallon lower than the same day one year ago and are 0.3 cents per gallon lower than a month ago. The national average has not moved during the last month and stands 5.0 cents per gallon lower than this day one year ago.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The drop that we had observed in the national average weeks ago took a pause over the last week,&#8221; said <a href=\"http:\/\/gasbuddy.com\/\">GasBuddy.com<\/a> Senior Petroleum Analyst Patrick DeHaan. &#8220;Oil prices have perked back up, and some supply tightness across areas of the country helped propel wholesale gasoline prices higher last week, leading retail prices to hold steady instead of continuing to decline.
