In addition, the company is partnering with the University of North Carolina at Greensboro Bryan School of Business and Economics to support two visiting scholars with internships.<\/p>\n<p>The interns will support ABM\u2019s expansion into international markets, focusing primarily on Africa, through market research, international order processing and the completion of export documentation. (photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Emily Hagenmaier of Dayton is a senior at The Ohio State University and will receive a Bachelor of Arts degree in chemistry and a Bachelor of Science in business administration in international business, with a minor in entrepreneurship. She\u2019s scheduled to graduate in December 2014.<\/p>\n<p>Noha Sayed Khalifa is from Egypt and is attending the University of North Carolina at Greensboro as a visiting scholar. She received her doctorate in plant molecular genetics at Illinois State University and has studied at institutions throughout the Middle East. She plans to return to Egypt once the ABM internship is complete.<\/p>\n<p>Khaled El-Baghdady is a University of North Carolina at Greensboro visiting scholar from Cairo, Egypt. He received his doctorate in molecular microbiology with a focus on plant development at the University of Warwick in the United Kingdom and has bachelor\u2019s degrees in chemistry and microbiology. This is his first visit to the United States. He also plans to return to Egypt after the ABM internship is complete.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is the first year ABM has participated in an internship program and we are thrilled to have Emily, Noha and Khaled working with us this summer,\u201d said Dan Custis, ABM CEO. \u201cEach intern has a specialized background that will benefit ABM as we continue to expand our international market. We look forward to providing our interns with opportunities to strengthen their college education and gain work experience.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The interns will work at ABM\u2019s corporate headquarters in Van Wert, as well as its research and development center in Geneva, New York.
