(Vantage photo)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More than 50 adult learners were recognized for completing a full-time program. They may have received a certificate for the ABLE program, or the EMT program, or the Medical Assistant program.<\/p>\n<p>Those in the Industrial Automated Maintenance and CNC Operation programs not only received a certificate, but they also received several transferrable college credits through a partnership with Northwest State Community College.<\/p>\n<p>It was all about the students, and guest speaker Julie Miller, director of the Business Enterprise Center at Wright State University-Lake Campus, focused on that. Her message to them: never stop learning.\u00a0 She also reminded students that the demand for skilled employees is higher than ever before.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis ceremony was a great event,\u201d said Vantage Adult Education Director Pete Prichard. \u201cIt showcases the classes and activities taking place at Vantage through Adult Education.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Spencer Wenninger, a member of the Industrial Automated Maintenance class, spoke to his classmates and guests about his program and the teachers, and said he would always remember this class.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_52453\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-52453\" style=\"width: 545px\" class=\"wp-caption alignnone\"><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/06\/Vantage-Adult-Awards-ceremony2-6-2014.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-52453 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Members of the Adult Education Cosmetology program pose during the Vantage Adult Education ceremony on Tuesday.
