(Cotterman) Wells. On July 21, 1951, in Continental, he married Doris M. (Moran) Wells, who survives in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-8711\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"American Flag for obituaries 6-2011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/><\/a>Other survivors include two sons, Dennis (Kimberly) Wells of Dayton and Randy (Martha) Wells of rural Van Wert; a sister-in-law, Jackie Wells of Van Wert; four grandchildren, Dawn (Chris) German, Amy (Adam) Benner, Bryon (Stephanie) Wells and Jamie (Kim) Ream; 11 great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.<\/p>\n<p>An infant son, Gary Wells; two brothers, Harold Wells and Cleo Wells; and three sisters, Katheryn Yearling, Dorothy Dilbone and Lucille Dyer, also preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p>Mr. Wells retired from Kennedy Manufacturing Company in Van Wert on March 31, 1993, after more than 23 years of service. He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.<\/p>\n<p><b>Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, June 19, at Cowan &amp; Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with the Rev. Paul W. Miller officiating.
