On June 19, 1968, he married Thelma Mae \u201cTootie\u201d (Wiseman) Allen, who survives.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8711\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"American Flag for obituaries 6-2011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/><\/a>Other survivors include a daughter, Nancy (Kurt R.) Muntzinger of Van Wert; two sons, Randy L. Allen of Missouri City, Texas, and Rick L. Allen of Van Wert; a stepson, Phil Simindinger of Ohio City; six grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.<\/p>\n<p>A sister, Nanette Wilcox, also preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p><b>Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Friday, June 20, at Cowan &amp; Son Funeral Home in Van Wert, with Pastor Denise Brown officiating.
