Marjorie Marie Secaur, 95, of Van Wert, died at 6 p.m. Friday, July 4, 2014, at Vancrest Health Care Center in Convoy.<\/p>\n
She was born September 23, 1918, in Van Wert, a daughter of the late Artie and Ola (Eller) Neiford. On September 21, 1940, she married Dwight D. Secaur, who preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
She is survived by two sons, Barry (Judy) Secaur of Decatur, Ind., and Jim (Sierra) Secaur of Convoy; a daughter, Karen (Jim) Feasby of Convoy; and a son-in-law, Rick Boley. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n
A daughter, Diana Boley; three brothers, Kenneth Neiford, John Neiford and Conrad Matzen; and two sisters, Roma Wyckoff and Virginia Mottinger, also preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
Mrs. Secaur had been employed by Van Wert Manufacturing and also by Van Wert County Hospital. She attended Trinity Friends Church in Van Wert. She loved going to garage sales and cooking for her family. She also enjoyed working in the hospital nursery and volunteering at the Pregnancy Life Center in Van Wert.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 7, at Brickner Funeral Home, with the Rev. Wayne Karges officiating. Burial will be in Woodlawn Cemetery in Ohio City.<\/b><\/p>\n
Calling hours are from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, July 6, and an hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.<\/b><\/p>\n
