On Monday night, the Van Wert Marlins hosted the Lima Shawnee Country Club Swim team at the Van Wert YMCA.<\/p>\n
Taking first place in all of their events were Ian Rex (3), Katie McVaigh (4) and Maddie Paquette (5). Also with first place finishes were: Lilie Mull (1); Kayson Hargett (1), Jayden Welker (2), Jamie Burenga (2), Risa Pollock (1), Aaron Stant (1).\u00a0 This Friday and Saturday the Marlins will travel to Kenton to compete in the Western Ohio Aquatic League (WOAL) Championship. The WOAL consists of eight teams with over 400 swimmers.<\/p>\n
