Noffsinger, 58, of Defiance, on a warrant stemming from an indictment for aggravated murder, with specification. The charge is an unclassified felony.<\/p>\n<p>The arrest stems from a special grand jury session that was held Thursday in Paulding in connection with a \u201ccold case\u201d homicide that occurred in 1981. On November 17, 1981, Alma Noffsinger was found beaten to death inside her residence in Oakwood.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDeputy Rob Garcia and Lt. Brion Hanenkratt have put a lot of man-hours into this cold case over the past several months, along with cold case investigators that were brought in to assist our office,\u201d said Paulding County Sheriff Jason K. Landers. \u201cI commend them for their dedication to see this through.
