The Ohio City Blue Ribbon Workers met on Aug. 3. \u00a0\u00a0Among items discussed were: The club\u2019s upcoming educational trip to tour the Alspach-Gearhart funeral home on Sunday Aug. 10 \u00a0(subject to change if necessary). Group members are to meet at the funeral home at 1:30 p.m.\u00a0 \u00a0After the tour members and their families will meet for their yearly \u201c Fun-day \u201c on Aug. 10 at Timberwoods campground .\u00a0 This will be at approx. 3 p.m.\u00a0 \u00a0Members are to bring swimsuits, towels, fishing poles and appetites for an afternoon of fishing, swimming , putt-putt golf followed by a pizza party in the pavilion.\u00a0\u00a0 Also, the 4-H is hosting a 4-H swim day party\u00a0 at Camp Clay\u00a0 on Aug. 13 from 6-9 p.m.\u00a0 Hot dogs, shaved ice and ice cream will be free to all 4-H members.<\/p>\n
The Van Wert 4-H talent show will be held at 1 p.m. on Aug. 31. If you would like to showcase your talent please pick up a form and turn it in by Aug. 29.\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 Presenting demonstrations at the meeting were Kole Swander\u00a0(Legos ) and Kaedyn Swander (how to get rid of a tick). Swander; also, Kailey Denman demonstrated how to French-braid hair and Kasey Denman , how to clean a clarinet.\u00a0\u00a0 \u00a0Thank you to all of the members this year for their creative and educational demonstrations!\u00a0\u00a0\u00a0 The group also discussed the building of the fair booth for the Van Wert County Fair .\u00a0 Officers were reminded to have their officer books filled out and ready to present.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
