CONVOY — The Crestview varsity football team will be hosting the Van Wert Cougars in a jamboree game this Friday, August 22, at the Crestview Athletic Complex at 7:30 p.m.\u00a0 The jamboree is approved by the Ohio High School Athletic Association and both schools contribute financially to the OHSAA Foundation.<\/p>\n
Gate admission is $5 for adults and $4 for students. Fans are encouraged to bring a non-perishable food item and will have their gate admission reduced to $3 for adults and $2 for students.\u00a0 Season passes are not<\/i> <\/b>honored for this event. The game does not count as a regular season contest for either school.<\/p>\n
The Crestview Knight Pride club is also hosting a Knights-Cougs Tailgate Party. Fans from both schools are encouraged to come early and purchase a tailgate boxed meal of Gibson\u2019s BBQ pulled pork, chips, and a dessert cookie. The cost of the box is $6 and extra sandwiches are available for $4 each.\u00a0 The tailgate party starts at the football field at 6 p.m.<\/p>\n
