Miller, 77, of Grover Hill, died Thursday morning, August 21, 2014, at his residence.<\/p>\n<p>He was born November 7, 1936, in Van Wert, the son of the late Gaylord Miller and Audrey (Crone) Hammond. He married Sue Ann (Kinner) Miller, who survives in Grover Hill.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-full wp-image-8711\" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"American Flag for obituaries 6-2011\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/06\/American-Flag-for-obituaries-6-2011.jpg\" width=\"125\" height=\"66\" \/><\/a>Other survivors include four children, Dean Miller and Lisa (Tom) Holovack, both of Lima, James B. Miller of Antwerp and Jacob R. Miller of Fort Wayne, Indiana; 10 grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p>Two children, Ronald W. Miller and Rhonda K. Miller; and two brothers, Ronald Leroy Miller and Jackie Miller, also preceded him in death.<\/p>\n<p><b>Funeral services will be conducted at 4 p.m. Saturday, August 24, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Van Wert.<\/b><\/p>\n<p><b>Calling hours are from 1-4 p.m. Saturday at the funeral home.<\/b><\/p>\n<p>Preferred memorial: Donor\u2019s choice.<\/p>\n<p>Online condolences may be left at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alspachgearhart.com\">www.alspachgearhart.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>James O.
