Van Wert volleyball information<\/i><\/p>\n
The Van Wert Cougars were back in action on Saturday with a tri-match at home with Wayne Trace and Bryan.<\/p>\n
The first match of the day was between Bryan and the Lady Cougars. The Cougars came out blazing against the Golden Bears, defeating them in two games: 25-6 and 25-13. The second match of the day for the Cougars was with the Wayne Trace Raiders.<\/p>\n
The Cougars came out strong and defeated the Raiders 25-15. The second game was a very close game that had the Raiders finishing on top 24-26.<\/p>\n
The final game Van Wert led the entire way, winning by a final score of 25-17. The Cougars are now 10-2 on the season and 3-1 in the Western Buckeye League.<\/p>\n
The Van Wert junior varsity defeated Bryan in the first match and Wayne Trace in the second. The Cougar JVs are now 9-3 on the season.<\/p>\n
Cougars will be back in action tonight as they travel to Convoy to take on their local rivals, the Crestview Knights. The JV game starts at 5:30 p.m.<\/p>\n
