{"id":55978,"date":"2014-09-25T07:17:42","date_gmt":"2014-09-25T12:17:42","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=55978"},"modified":"2014-09-25T07:17:42","modified_gmt":"2014-09-25T12:17:42","slug":"vw-ymca-schedules-kids-fun-day","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2014\/09\/25\/vw-ymca-schedules-kids-fun-day\/","title":{"rendered":"VW YMCA schedules Kids Fun Day"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>YMCA of VW County information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>The YMCA of Van Wert County will present an all-day event, \u201cKids Fun Day at the Y,\u201d for kids ages 6-12 on Monday, October 13, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/YMCA-Kids-Fun-Day-artwork-9-2014.jpg\"><img fetchpriority=\"high\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-55979\" alt=\"YMCA Kids Fun Day artwork 9-2014\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/09\/YMCA-Kids-Fun-Day-artwork-9-2014.jpg\" width=\"250\" height=\"313\" \/><\/a>\u201cWe wanted to give the kids something structured and fun to do on their next scheduled day off of school,\u201d stated Y Program Director Mitch Price. \u201cWe plan to structure it similar to summer camps, only indoors.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A variety of fun events are scheduled for the day, including, but not limited to, sports, games, swimming, a bounce house, and arts and crafts.
