(photo submitted)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI am honored that Mayor Ehmer even considered me for this position,\u201d Wilson said. \u201c I have known Mayor Ehmer since our children were in school together and have nothing but the greatest respect for him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI was fortunate enough to have served for four years on City Council with Louie,\u201d Wilson added. \u201cDuring his tenure on Council, Louie was constantly reiterating his firm belief in sound fiscal responsibility and contingency planning in local government &#8212; sometimes in direct opposition to the administration at the time.\u00a0 Since becoming mayor, he has continued this crusade having successfully rescued the City\u2019s finances out of a major financial crisis.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In addition to Wilson, Coral Fetzer has been selected as campaign treasurer.
