Van Wert Marlins information<\/i><\/p>\n
WAPAKONETA — On Saturday, the Van Wert Marlins opened their winter season with a road trip to Wapakoneta to compete in the Wapakoneta YMCA Halloween Invitational.<\/p>\n
On hand were 365 swimmers from 14 area YMCAs in one of the larger meets of the season.<\/p>\n
There were two swimmers with a top three finish in individual events for the Marlins. Jayden Welker took third in 9-10 Boys 100-yard individual medley and Katie McVaigh finished second in the 13-14 Girls 50-yard freestyle.<\/p>\n
