Brincefield has been selected 2014 Trooper of the Year at the Van Wert Post.\u00a0 Brincefield joined the Highway Patrol in 2003 and has served at the Patrol\u2019s Training Academy in addition to the Van Wert Post.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_58876\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-58876\" style=\"width: 145px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-full wp-image-58876 \" style=\"border: 1px solid black;\" alt=\"Dispatcher R.D. He also serves as a field-training officer. Brincefield enjoys participating in speech details and working with children.<\/p>\n<p>Brincefield and his family reside in Van Wert County.<\/p>\n<p>Radio Dispatcher Meghan L. Scheirer has been recognized as the 2014 Dispatcher of the Year. Scheirer joined the Highway Patrol in 2013 and is assigned to the Van Wert Dispatch Center. She is a graduate of Defiance High School and Defiance College.<br \/>\nScheirer, 35, was honored in recognition of her outstanding service over the past year.\u00a0 Management and dispatchers\/communications technicians chose Scheirer based on her technical job knowledge and ability, enthusiastic work attitude, teamwork, and prompt and courteous response to the public\u2019s requests for information and assistance.<\/p>\n<p>Scheirer and her family reside in Defiance County.<br \/>\nBoth Brincefield and Scheirer are in contention for district and state honors as Trooper of the Year and Dispatcher of the Year.
