Main St., Suite C, on Thursday, January 8, from 6-9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Participants whose intention is to be part of the Business Plan Challenge attended the first workshop in the series of five sessions on November 13,\u00a0which focused on the business idea and\u00a0its value proposition.\u00a0The second workshop completed on November 20 focused on elements of the business plan and the third, held on December 4, focused on\u00a0the identification of the customer and\u00a0development of a\u00a0marketing strategy.<\/p>\n<p>The workshop scheduled on Thursday will focus on the operational aspects of the business and the investment needed to start a business and cash flow.\u00a0The final session of the series offers information on how to finance a business and will be held Thursday, February 5, from 6-8 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>For more information on the workshops, the Business Plan Challenge or future workshops to assist small businesses, contact Cindy Leis at the Van Wert City Economic Development office at 419.238.2999 or email <a href=\"mailto:leis.40@osu.edu\">leis.40@osu.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>VW City Economic Development information The next workshop as part of the Business Plan Challenge series will be held at the local Wright State-Lake Campus Business Enterprise Center (BEC) office, 147 E.
