Van Wert swim team information<\/i><\/p>\n

BRYAN — The Van Wert High School boys and girls swimming teams traveled to Bryan High School to compete in a dual meet. Both Cougar teams lost a hard-fought battle against the Bryan Golden Bears: girls 125-53 and the boys 107-74.<\/p>\n

Swimmers placing first in individual events included Josh Overholt (50-yard freestyle and 100-yard breaststroke), Sam Easley (200-yard freestyle and 100-yard freestyle), and Tyler Rex (100-yard freestyle).<\/p>\n

Two Van Wert relays finished in first place:<\/p>\n

200 freestyle relay: boys (1:38.56 \u2013Sam Easley, Cade Fleming, Josh Overholt, Tyler Rex)<\/p>\n
