Delphos Police Dept. information<\/i><\/p>\n
DELPHOS — Delphos police officers, along with agents from the Toledo Division of the federal Alcohol, Tobacco and Firearms agency (ATF), executed a federal search warrant Thursday on a Delphos residence looking for weapons in the possession of a convicted felon.<\/p>\n
The search took place at approximately 9 a.m. at a residence in the 200 block of Holland Avenue. Located inside the residence were two firearms and numerous rounds of ammunition.<\/p>\n
The 40-year-old male suspect was cooperative with officers and came to the Delphos Police Department for further questioning. He confessed that the firearms and ammunition were his.<\/p>\n
At this point, the case will be reviewed by a federal prosecutor out of the United States District Attorney\u2019s Office in Toledo to determine what, if any, charges are appropriate.<\/p>\n
