{"id":5984,"date":"2011-04-06T22:36:21","date_gmt":"2011-04-07T03:36:21","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/?p=5984"},"modified":"2011-04-06T22:36:21","modified_gmt":"2011-04-07T03:36:21","slug":"county-wind-association-plans-meeting","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2011\/04\/06\/county-wind-association-plans-meeting\/","title":{"rendered":"County Wind Association plans meeting"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>An organizational meeting of the Southern Van Wert County Wind Association will be held at Vantage Career Center on Monday, April 11, from 7 to 9 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>The purpose of the association is to help farmers, landowners, and neighboring house owners to better understand a wind lease contract, to negotiate the best possible lease, to know about amendments to leases, and to decide if a lease is in the landowners\u2019 best interest.<\/p>\n<p>Ron Schumm will talk about his experience with the benefits wind association in northern Van Wert County and southern Paulding County.<\/p>\n<p>The association is being organized by Catherine Heitz at the request of Warren Reed, former Vantage instructor and vocational agriculture teacher.
