(Photo submitted.)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The blood drive was a success with multiple donations from students, staff and from the local community. The \u201cWalk for Bailey\u201d has wrapped up and raised money for a student and her family.\u00a0 The Lady Knights celebrate more than just win. There is now a new option for lunch for the Crestview middle school and high school. The first semester is almost over with exams coming to an end.<\/p>\n<p>The Red Cross foundation came to Convoy for the annual blood drive. \u00a0As community we donated 99 units of blood. Senior NHS president Courtney Trigg said, \u201cI think it went very well especially for this being the first year we weren&#8217;t able to have it at the school. The administration was really flexible and helpful when it came to getting students to the church. I love being a part of the blood drive. It&#8217;s my favorite part of the year for NHS.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The \u201cWalk for Bailey\u201d was a great success that wrapped up Friday. \u201cParticipating in the walk to raise money for a former classmate is a great feeling. I enjoyed walking around the gym for a good cause,\u201d said junior Siera Wood<\/p>\n<p>The Lady Knights traveled to Berlin Hiland High School for the \u201cClassic in the Country\u201d over the weekend. Not only did they defeat Ironton a Division III team 51 to 42, the win marked Coach Rickard\u2019s 400<sup>th<\/sup> win.\u00a0 After the game, Rickard was presented the game ball.<\/p>\n<p>The cafeteria now has a grab and go lunch. Students can now grab a sandwich and some fruit that is already made for $2.40. The salad bar has also changed and students can get the salad bar and a cup of soup. \u00a0\u201cI really enjoy the grab and go lunch because I can get it quick and I don\u2019t have to wait in line half the lunch period,\u201d\u00a0 stated junior Brady Guest<\/p>\n<p>The school year is almost half way done.
