(Photo: Preston Gerardot)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Last week the boys\u2019 basketball team beat the Lincolnview Lancers 49 to 39 for a big win. \u201cOne thing that helped us beat them was how we were solid on the defensive end and people took charges,\u201d said Mitchell Rickard. The boys will be playing a tough game at Paulding tomorrow, and then another tough one playing Celina at home Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>Last week the pep band traveled to Huntington University and performed during one of their men\u2019s basketball games. \u201cPlaying at Huntington is really fun. \u00a0It\u2019s a new experience for their crowd so they actually liked to listen and clap for us. It\u2019s a blast!\u201d said Taylor Hughes.<\/p>\n<p>The girls\u2019 basketball team defeated Van Wert Tuesday 44 to 27 for another big win for the Knights. They are now 15-0. \u201cYeah I think we have what it takes to make it to the state level, if we don&#8217;t play selfish, and everyone plays defense, and we don&#8217;t give second shots,\u201d said Claire Zaleski.
