Ludwig, 48, of Convoy, died at 2:12 p.m. Thursday, April 7, 2011, at Lutheran Hospital of Indiana in Fort Wayne, Ind.<\/p>\n<p>He was born August 31, 1962, in Van Wert, the son of William and Evelyn (Mason) Ludwig, who both survive in Van Wert.<\/p>\n<p>Other survivors include a loving companion, Stephanie Fennig of Convoy; two children, Stephanie (Ken Reinhart) Ludwig of Decatur, Ind., and Isaac Ludwig of Grover Hill; a brother, Jeff Ludwig of Delphos; one sister, Sue (Daniel) Jones of Delphos; and four grandchildren.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Funeral services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday, April 12, at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home &amp; Crematory in Van Wert, with the Rev. Will Haggis officiating. Burial will be in Mohr Cemetery in Van Wert County.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Calling hours are from 2-8 p.m. Monday, April 11, at the funeral home.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Preferred memorial: Children\u2019s education fund.<\/p>\n<p>Messages of sympathy may be sent to the family at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.alspachgearhart.com\">www.alspachgearhart.com<\/a>.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Michael A.
