Van Wert YWCA information<\/i><\/p>\n

The Van Wert YWCA recently received a donation from Ruler Foods.\u00a0 Ruler Foods is operated by Jay C Food Stores, a division of the Kroger Company.\u00a0 Rachel Schepman, community relations manager for Jay C Food Stores\/Ruler Foods, presented Danni Chiles, YWCA finance manager, with a check for $4,000.<\/p>\n

The donation will be used to purchase physical activity equipment and interactive learning supplies for the YWCA Summer Food Program.<\/p>\n

The summer of 2015 will mark the YWCA\u2019s Summer Food Program\u2019s 20th anniversary. Last summer, the YWCA was able to provide 340 registered participants with more than 20,000 meals, including warm breakfasts and lunches, Friday backpacks full of weekend meals and the fresh farmers\u2019 produce market.<\/p>\n

YWCA officials were grateful for the donation.<\/p>\n
