Paulding County Sheriff\u2019s information<\/i><\/p>\n

LIMA — Area law enforcement agencies are seeking a Paulding County Jail inmate who walked away from a Lima medical facility late Tuesday morning, while on a medical furlough issued by Paulding County Common Pleas Court.<\/p>\n

Abbie Holton<\/strong><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

Abbie Leann Holton, 26, was discovered missing at approximately 11:30 Tuesday morning and there is currently an active bench warrant issued for her arrest for failure to return.<\/p>\n

Holton has been in jail since March 16 after deputies arrested her on an outstanding warrant first issued in 2013. At the time of her arrest, deputies subsequently charged her with several new crimes, including felony identification theft and a misdemeanor count of resisting arrest.<\/p>\n

\u201cHolton needs to be captured and held accountable for her actions,\u201d said Paulding County Sheriff Jason K. Landers. \u201cShe has contacted our office since her escape this morning, and has no remorse for the choice she made.\u201d<\/p>\n

Sheriff Landers said Holton has been using her younger sister, Cheyenne Rain Holton\u2019s (age 19), identity to mislead law enforcement officers and avoid arrest.<\/p>\n

The Paulding County sheriff described Holton as 5 feet, 3 inches tall, weighing 160-175 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. She has a tattoo on her right arm that says \u201cstarted from the bottom\u201d and a peace symbol tattooed on her left arm.<\/p>\n
