Eggs and bones will both be in Smiley Park for the finding this coming Saturday morning.<\/p>\n

The Van Wert Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled its annual Easter Egg Hunt for 10 a.m. Saturday, April 4, at the Smiley Park ballfields.<\/p>\n

\"Easter<\/a>Children ages 10 and under will be divided into four age groups.\u00a0Also, parents should be sure to bring a camera, because the Easter Bunny will be hopping in for a visit with the kids.\u00a0Come out and enjoy the fun and don\u2019t forget to bring a basket or bag to collect the eggs.<\/p>\n

For further information on the Parks Department Easter Egg Hunt, contact the Jubilee Park Office at 419.238.9121<\/p>\n

New this year is the Easter Bone Hunt, immediately following the Easter Egg Hunt at approximately 11 a.m. — a hunt for dog treat-filled eggs for area residents and their dogs!\u00a0 Pets must be on a leash.<\/p>\n

The first wave will be for dogs weighing 40 pounds and under, while the second wave will be for dogs weighing more than 40 pounds.<\/p>\n

Both hunts are free to the public, although donations will be accepted to benefit the Van Wert County Humane Society at the Easter Bone Hunt.<\/p>\n
