The scholarship funds will be paid directly to the college\/university that recipients attend in the fall of 2015 and will be used for tuition.<\/p>\n<p>The YWCA celebrates young women leaders and hopes to encourage positive, Christian character through this scholarship. Applicants must be senior girls who attend a Van Wert County high school or reside in Van Wert County. Applicants must also display good morals, be active church members, volunteer in a community organization and display leadership and Christian character in their daily lives.<\/p>\n<p>Applications are available through all Van Wert County high school guidance counselor offices, as well as at the front desk of the YWCA.
