The Lincolnview PTO will be having their annual Carnival this Friday, April 15 from 4-7 p.m. in the elementary gym.\u00a0 They will be serving Venedocia Lions Sausage sandwiches, pizza, hot dogs, and cotton candy.\u00a0 Kids and adults will enjoy the air extreme games that include 3 point shot, the bungee run, jumpy air castle, air painted tattoos, and many other old favorites.\u00a0 There will also be a raffle for many great prizes.<\/p>\n

The Spanish Club attended a Latin American Dance performance at IPFW in on Monday.<\/p>\n

Everyone enjoyed watching familiar dances like the Tango and the outstanding performance of the drummers.\u00a0 Dances from many Latin American countries were featured and students had the opportunity to sing along with some popular Spanish songs.\u00a0 After the performance everyone enjoyed lunch at Chipotle.\u00a0 Muchas gracias to Jim Barnhart and Marge Knott for volunteering to drive the buses for us.\u00a0 We appreciate you giving up your day for us and enjoyed your company.<\/p>\n

Mini-Relay walkers<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n

participating in our Relay for Life Activities last week.\u00a0 We would especially like to thank the following businesses for providing drinks and snacks for the mini relay.\u00a0 They are: AMA Material Supply, Blue Water Campground, Byrne Excavating, Custom Assembly, Osting Farm Drainage and D & D Grain. Also we would like to extend a huge thank you to Dianne Byrne for all of her help and support of our mini-relay. We would also like to thank all of the participants in our quarter auction, especially Amber Davis and April Ellerbrock for coordinating it.<\/p>\n

The students had fun while raising money for the American Cancer Society.\u00a0 The weeklong activities culminated with our mini-relay. Unfortunately we had to walk in the gym due to rain, but the students, and a few parents and grandparents, had a great time.\u00a0 So far we have raised over $4,800.\u00a0 There are still a few more weeks left until the teachers walk at the Van Wert County Relay on May 6-7.<\/p>\n

This past Saturday the junior high boys\u2019 and girls\u2019 track teams competed in the Parkway Invitational.\u00a0 Out of 8 teams, the boys were 3rd<\/sup><\/strong> and the girls were 6th<\/sup><\/strong>.\u00a0 Other teams competing in the meet were Van Wert, Crestview, Adams Central, Lima City Schools, Greenville, Parkway and Kenton.
