Esther E. Spridgeon of Middle Point died Friday, April 24, 2015 at her residence. \u00a0She was born February 25, 1932 in Van Wert, Ohio, the daughter of Ethel (Mager) Byers and Paul Byers, who both preceded her in death.<\/p>\n
She was married to Gerald E. “Tuffy” Spridgeon who passed on February 8, 2014. \u00a0\u00a02 brothers, Howard L. and Paul Jr. are also deceased.<\/p>\n
Survivors include a brother, Donald Byers, Riverside, CA.\u00a0\u00a0Her children\u00a0Elsie (Joe) Thompson, Newark, OH; Gary \u201cHarry\u201d Spridgeon, Middle Point, OH;\u00a0Jay Spridgeon, Middle Point, OH.\u00a0Cindy (Mike) Alexander, Key Colony Beach, FL.<\/p>\n
Grandchildren include\u00a0Brad Thompson, Jody (Craig) King & Scott, Adam, & Nick Kayser. \u00a0There are 5 great-grandchildren. \u00a0A.J., Mac, Shannon, Sydney and Ezra. \u00a0Special friend, Deb Fox of South Carolina also survives.<\/p>\n
Esther Retired from the Postal Service & was an LPN before working for the Postal Service. \u00a0She was a member of Delphos Presbyterian Church and was a member of the\u00a0Red Hat Society, Middle Point Fire Dept. Ladies Aux., Hoaglin Jackson Breakfast Club; and was an Usher at the Embassy, Ft. Wayne, Indiana for 11 years.<\/p>\n
Funeral services will be held at 10:30AM Monday April 27, 2015 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory. \u00a0Friends may call\u00a02-6PM Sunday April 26, 2015 at Alspach-Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory in Van Wert. \u00a0Burial will be in the Ridge Cemetery at Middle Point, Ohio.<\/strong><\/p>\n Preferred memorials to the\u00a0Middle Point Fire Dept.
