{"id":64660,"date":"2015-06-08T06:53:49","date_gmt":"2015-06-08T11:53:49","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=64660"},"modified":"2015-06-08T06:53:49","modified_gmt":"2015-06-08T11:53:49","slug":"fair-to-perform-in-ohio-city-concert","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2015\/06\/08\/fair-to-perform-in-ohio-city-concert\/","title":{"rendered":"Fair to perform in Ohio City concert"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Village of Ohio City information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>OHIO CITY &#8212; Ohio City would like to announce that Dana Fair will be performing at its third \u201cArts in the Park\u201d concert this coming Friday at 7 p.m.<\/p>\n<p>Fair has performed in local bands since the age of 15.\u00a0In the past 25 years he has been in such bands as Bad Habit, Delgado, Wild Hearts, X-Eyes, Crossroads and DNA, along with a solo career.<\/p>\n<p>Fair got started in music by listening to his mother her brother, Ron Rasberry, play. As a young child, music was always in life &#8212; and occasionally live &#8212; in his living room.<\/p>\n<p>Friday night, Fair will perform some of his favorites on an acoustic guitar, accompanied by his harmonica. Some artist you may hear: ZZ-Top, Neil Young, Tom Petty, Stevie Ray Vaughn and Uncle Ron Rasberry.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cArts in the Park\u201d is a monthly event that happens on Main Street in Ohio City on the second Friday of every month.
