Fifth St. (Lincoln Highway) in Delphos.<\/p>\n<p>After attendees order dinner individually from the menu, a small business meeting will be held.\u00a0 At around 7:15 p.m., the group will travel to 327 S. Bredeick St. in Delphos to visit the former home of world-renowned astronomer Leslie Peltier.<\/p>\n<p>Over the course of his life, Peltier discovered 12 comets and two novae and was described as the &#8220;world&#8217;s greatest non-professional astronomer&#8221;. The Astronomical League established The Leslie C. Peltier Award in his honor and annually awards it to an amateur astronomer who contributes to astronomy observations of lasting significance.<\/p>\n<p>Jack and Peggy Adams, current owners of the home Peltier called &#8220;Brookhaven,\u201d are in the process of updating and restoring the home to eventually turn it into a bed and breakfast.<\/p>\n<p>The public is invited to attend the meeting.
