{"id":64993,"date":"2015-06-17T07:39:45","date_gmt":"2015-06-17T12:39:45","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/?p=64993"},"modified":"2015-06-17T07:39:45","modified_gmt":"2015-06-17T12:39:45","slug":"trucker-hurt-when-semi-overturns-on-637","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/thevwindependent.com\/news\/2015\/06\/17\/trucker-hurt-when-semi-overturns-on-637\/","title":{"rendered":"Trucker hurt when semi overturns on 637"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><i>Ohio State Highway Patrol information<\/i><\/p>\n<p>GROVER HILL &#8212; The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Ohio 637 north of Grover Hill.<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/osplogo.gif\"><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-2340\" alt=\"osplogo\" src=\"https:\/\/www.thevwindependent.com\/news\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/02\/osplogo.gif\" width=\"121\" height=\"160\" \/><\/a>At 2:20 a.m. Tuesday morning, a 2012 Volvo semi-tractor trailer operated by Gregory Burns of Marion was traveling south on Ohio 637 transporting automotive parts when the semi veered off the right side of the roadway, hit a driveway access and overturned.<\/p>\n<p>Burns sustained serious injuries as a result of the traffic crash and was transported to St. Rita\u2019s Medical Center in Lima for treatment. The crash also resulted in a temporary closure of Ohio 637 and has since been reopened.<\/p>\n<p>Burns was wearing a seatbelt and alcohol was not believed to be a factor in the crash.<\/p>\n<p>The Van Wert Post was assisted by Paulding County Sheriff\u2019s Office, Grover Hill Fire and EMS, Paulding County Emergency Management Agency and the Ohio Department of Transportation.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ohio State Highway Patrol information GROVER HILL &#8212; The Van Wert Post of the Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a one-vehicle injury crash that occurred on Ohio 637 north of Grover Hill.
