Ryan Shields, 29, of Van Wert, was arraigned on a charge of failure to register as a sex offender, a felony of the fourth degree. He was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 29.<\/p>\n
Rebecca Graber, 34, of Van Wert, appeared on a three-count indictment for trafficking in drugs, all felonies of the fifth degree. She was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference was set for 8 a.m. July 29.<\/p>\n
Carl Elston, 36, of Van Wert, appeared on a fourth-degree felony charge of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. He was released on a surety bond, with the stipulation he have no contact with the alleged victim in the case, and a pretrial conference was scheduled for 8 a.m. July 29.<\/p>\n
Amanda Ogle, 26, of Toledo, was arraigned on a charge of aggravated possession of drugs, a fifth-degree felony. She was released on a surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. August 5.<\/p>\n
Ian Taylor, 21, of Van Wert, was arraigned on a charge of grand theft, a felony of the fourth degree. He was ordered held on a $50,000 cash bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. Wednesday, July 22.<\/p>\n
Kareem Howard, 40, of Van Wert, was arraigned on three counts of trafficking in cocaine, each a felony of the fifth degree. He was released on a surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. August 5.<\/p>\n
Brittnie Garwood, 27, of Van Wert, was arraigned on two counts of trafficking in a counterfeit controlled substance, each a felony of the fifth degree. She was released on a surety bond and a pretrial conference scheduled for 8 a.m. July 29.<\/p>\n
Christopher McLemore, 38, of Convoy, was arraigned in a first-degree misdemeanor count of passing bad checks. He was released on a surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. July 29.<\/p>\n
Corey Green, 41, of Toledo, was arraigned on one count of possession of drugs, a felony of the fifth degree. He was released on a surety bond and will appear for a pretrial conference at 8 a.m. July 29.<\/p>\n
Judge Burchfield also presided over four other cases on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Clark Roberts, 36, of Van Wert, entered a guilty plea on a prosecutor\u2019s bill of information charging him with gross sexual imposition, a felony of the fourth degree. A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing scheduled for 9 a.m. Wednesday, August 26.<\/p>\n
Bobby Lee Burnett, 20, of Van Wert, pleaded guilty to a prosecutor\u2019s bill of information charging him with trespass in a habitation, a fourth-degree felony offense. He then requested, and was granted, treatment in lieu of conviction and his case was stayed, pending completion of a substance abuse treatment program.<\/p>\n
Hector Leal, 44, of Van Wert, changed his plea to guilty to a charge of operating a vehicle while impaired, a felony of the fourth degree (downgraded from a third-degree felony). A presentence investigation was ordered and sentencing set for 9 a.m. August 26.<\/p>\n
Melissa Frasl, 34, of Delphos, changed her plea to guilty to a charge of domestic violence, a fourth-degree felony. A presentence investigation was ordered and Frasl will appear for sentencing at 9 a.m. Wednesday, September 2.<\/p>\n
Van Wert County Probate-Juvenile Court Judge Kevin Taylor also heard two cases on Wednesday.<\/p>\n
Jason Vanover, 34, of Van Wert, was sentenced to 12 months in prison on a charge of trafficking in heroin, a felony of the fifth degree. Judge Taylor also gave Vanover credit for 121 days already served and ordered him to pay $280 in restitution to the West Central Ohio Crime Task Force.<\/p>\n
Lee Hummer, 27, of Delphos, admitted to violating his personal surety bond by failing to report for an appointment with the probation department. Judge Taylor then set a $2,000 cash bond in the case.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
